1.Valbona Pass
It is probably the most beautiful viewpoint of Valbona (2158m). The hike to Valbona Peak (Valbona pass) is just breathtaking! This hike takes 3-4 hours from Valbona centre. From this viewpoint you can see Valbona Valley as well as Thethi Valley making this attraction a must-visit!
2. Xhema's Lake
1.5h hike from Valbona centre, Xhema's Lake is a great seasonal attraction. This hike/ walk can be done anytime; no hike experience is necessary. Great for swimming if you don't mind cold mountain water!
3. Valbona Waterfall
2-3h hike (one way) from Valbona Centre you can find the wonderful waterfall of Valbona. The amount of water is dependent on the rain and snow hence the best time to visit it is early spring or autumn. There are a few seasonal coffee shops and guest houses on the way.
4. Kukaj Village
Kukaj Village is a small village featuring the north Albanian lifestyle and culture. Only 2km from Valbona centre, (45 min hike) is a great afternoon attraction! You can find Guest houses and a little bar & coffee there too.
5. Maja e Rosit (Rosi Peak)
5h from Valbona Centre (one way) you can get to Rosni Peak (Maja e Rosit). This hike goes through Kukaj Village and the view from the peak is just worth it! Please seek advice if you want to do this hike as it is slightly challenging if you do not have good hiking experience.
6. Jezerca's Lake
Buni i Jezerces or Jezerca's Lakes is the largest lake in the Albanian Alps and sits at 1,792m above sea level. ~6h from Valbona centre this hike is just an unforgettable experience. From there you can also see Jezerca's Peak (second highest mountain in Albania 2694m)
7. Çerem Village
Cerem Village is a small village located ~12km from Valbona centre. Featuring North Albanian traditional lifestyle this hike is a great cultural experience. Guest houses and other services are available there. The hike/walk is relatively easy.
